Man with van full of reptiles gets six months

After smuggling 1,475 turtles and snakes in the panels of his van over the Canadian border, a Niagara-on-the-Lake man was handed a six-month conditional sentence Friday. The discovery at the Queenston-Lewiston bridge by authorities was believed to be the largest seizure of live reptiles in Canada.
